Life is back to normal in america when markets move up.
after yesterdays episode of wryt batnick just needs to sign all his emails Rockin Ass, Batnick
It really bothers me about this "Nvidia will crash and bring down the market" lazy thesis, I think this massive dislocation is actually creating one of the best stock picking opportunities in decades.
We spend so little on food compared to the rest of the world because of the farm bill. We subsidize like crazy. Bread and circus, it’s a powerful tool.
High incomes in the US and we produce a ton of food also.
Exactly, that's why it makes absolute no sense for ppl on the screen all the time talking about "is the market overvalued" , "what the market will do next' etc. There's a huge bifucartion between the mega tech/recession stocks, and the rest of the market.
Yet to see an episode where Ben accepts the possibility that he can be wrong on any point he makes.
Hey Batnick, tarot is pronounced teh-row. Accent on first syllable.
Lol
Great show, guys. I see a lot of people are now trading off the moon cycles with surprisingly great results 😅
Europe is in secular decline because of demographics.
Aren't you guys too young to be in 60/40 portfolios?
I don't believe either actually is. Ben has mentioned he has a barbell strategy balancing risk assets and cash equivalents
@@erickarnell Ben said that at 6:00 minutes. Perhaps he has cash equivalents rather than bonds for the 40%
@@JoeS97756 lol he was referring to their shirts
Nice shirt!
Wasn't JetBlue the first to have the TV's?
I feel like most folks who join a company with a stock grant as part of their compensation spend that money as soon as that stock vests.
I just assumed Ben Carlson was a pseudonym.
That was a great graph about the 4% rule and different starting points. Kind of goes to show you the disadvantage of the individual saver and 401ks, and the large benefit of the pension for smoothing out that luck. It's kind of ridiculous if you think about it that we let the luck determine people's outcomes so much, when we have the institutions that would fix that issue. Also you know who does care about The number one ranking in the OECD In terms of housing affordability? Literally everyone else who's not American. We frankly don't want to hear your complaining constantly when you guys don't have it bad at all. It's just the equivalent of when your friend is complaining about some minor issue when you have that same problem times 10. You are free to keep complaining about it but you just look like a dick. It's also an objective measure to show that maybe American standards are too high
You could also die from dysentery traveling back in the day
I remind myself that the Dutch east India Company VOC, starting in yr 1600 provided %20 annual returns for almost 200 years. That was one company. The S&P 500 is much more diversified.
Party On 🥳🥳✌️✌️🫶🫶

Did an adult just ask if there are sharks in Lake Michigan?
So are there? 😂
There are sharks in Fresh water in Australia
The batnick pic as the character from seinfeld was the best. Great photoshop job guys.
Show me the commercial I'm not that busy!!!
My $400K stock portfolio needs to be diversified, but I'm not sure how to handle risks going forward.
When diversifying, spread investments across sectors and assets to lower risks. Research and consult a financial advisor for aligned decisions.
True. My portfolio was diversified across several markets with the help of a financial planner, and were able to achieve over a million in net profit among high dividend yield equities, ETFs, and bonds. It is vital that you have a variety of exposure, including in firms that are currently generating cash flows.
Do you mind sharing your financial planner?

One of the finest portfolio managers in the field also widely recognized. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment.
Inflation isn’t over… BS on food inflation coming down. It’s super expensive.
Applovin, Bluebird, SPX, VRT, Wingstop are having big years as well
You guys think it’s a coincidence that NVDIA is having one of its worst weeks as of late and Tesla is having one of its best?
I would never invest in the video game space, besides tech like GPUs used for all video games whether those games make money or more likely lose money, and i have 30 positions about 22 of them outperforming
Are JEPQ dividends qualified or non-qualified? edit, just checked and they are taxed at ordinary income. And if you don't reinvest your return compared to the Q's is terrible and if you do reinvest you have a bunch of ordinary income and no cash to pay it. I think most people are buying these because they want the income month to month and if so your return relative to the Qs is abysimal. Just buy the Q's and put some of your funds in treasuries if you need income.
Absolutely terrible take, car fuel prices are only one part of CPI. Wages have not increased 22%, i got 8% over 2 years. You aint fooling anybody
im going heavy in NVDIA
He is right, I dont know why the comments are tripping
Madden Lol🚮
Amazon and Tesla are both at $194 share price. I bet Tesla hits $250 before Amazon
i absolutely listen to everything with jill and barry. hell yes!
